History of The Foundation
In August 2018, Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama established The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh, Inc. in order to more efficiently manage the temporal works of the Church.
Currently, during this time of transition, The Foundation is governed by an internal Board of Directors all the while maintaining focus on the mission which is to partner with the faithful in uniting their collective vision and financial resources to build a stronger future for the Diocese of Raleigh. As Executive Director of The Foundation, Dawn M. Stark is leading transformative initiatives aimed at strengthening philanthropic engagement and expanding donor outreach such as legacy giving, planned gifts, and endowment development that align with donors’ long-term values and intentions.
